Pictures From Tonight's Meeting

Twice a week the Calamity Fuse team has meetings for the purpose of getting together and getting some work done on this beast. This week we thought we would put a small photo album together to show you guys what goes on here. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger version.

Adam working intently on his player model sketches. The little black book on the left is Adam's sketchpad, he and that pad are inseparable.

PAPERZZZZZZ. This is pretty much my life, coding and work in general. Also an interesting fact: I've had same that pen since about 1982.

Here at Matrieya Software we have a tradition, and that tradition is pizza. We take turns paying. Note however that nobody actually ordered pineapple and we don't know why they put it on our pizza.

Our kind benefactor digs into his first slice for the night. It is my personal opinion that shirt looks particularly good on him, and I have it on good word that his wife did not actually buy it for him.

These two make a great team. Bryan stuffs his face while Adam works hard on that Machindo player model sketch. To his credit, it turned out very well, but at the cost of all that sweat you see dripping off his forehead.

Here's yours truly slaving away like a code monkey at the game's innards, breaking my back so that you all can one day have a fun game to play long into the night, or so we hope.

Here's a small mockup of the Numen-buying screen. It's fully functional, even if it doesn't look very nice, but we actually have Mike working on that part as we speak. I guess you can consider this the first released "screenshot."

On the screen here you can see an old sketch that Bryan made to give Adam a good idea of what the Machindo should look like. There's Adam hard at work, explaining to Bryan why his drawing skills need drastic improvement.

Man that Adam's a hard worker! Look at how intently he studies his art, putty-eraser in hand.

Adam's tools of the trade. Choose your weapon. Colored pencils? Markers of all sizes? Spare lead and eraser? Adam has it all.

Pizza and root beer at hand, we never tire in our endless struggle to create the perfect game... or at least as perfect as we can figure out.

Unfortunately Mike and Alan couldn't make it this week, but maybe some other time we will have some pictures with them. In any case I hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse into the great fun that we have had so far making Calamity Fuse.
